WOW I have a hard time WITHOUT flowers!! Great job you made a perfect boy page that looks super cool!! Really it does!! nice pic too... no way I could get my crazy bros to sit still long enough to take a pic!!
God bless!!

This is very nice, very masculine! He looks so handsome. You used one of the examples of the newer more masculine embellies that have been added to the market. Love the grunge look with the corrugated cardboard. Looks nice. Definitely going into my faves-I will probably have to lift this when I can do scrapbooking. Great job! It is very tempting to use what you are already comfortable with instead of trying new things. But again you went out on a limb and BIG SUCCESS!
My brother went to MIT, graduated 1978. I love your detail. I have 2 sons and it's so hard to find things that are for them so we have to create them...
THis is a fantastic photo and you did a phenomenal job scrapping it. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't use flowers in a layout...I guess it's fotunate then that I have two daughters! LOL!
It is hard for some of us to go to college right away, I know it was for me. I'm glad my parents didn't push too hard, and i went on my own a year later.
This LO is really awesome and you can be proud of your work, as well as proud of your smart young man!
LOVE the mesh & gears....SO WONDERFUL to see you do a masculine page, and one on your SON also!!!!!! Like the dbl matting, like the mix of stripes and dots. Looking forward to more pages on your sons :)
Hey sweetie! Miss being in touch. Hope u had a great Easter. Love your latest masculine lo! You never dissapoint and always amaze. The gears really are a great touch to go with your journaling about your son. Sooo cute and intelligent to. HEHe! U can't go wrong no matter what you try. Love ya!
oh Lisa!!! what a wonderful job on this masculine layout!! I love the design, the gears, and the MIT thing is perfect!!!! what a handsome boy you've got there! MUCH luck in his decision for school! You should MAKE those boys take pics, beause you do "manly" beautifully!!!! it's a fav........
You did a fantastic job on this guy page! I'll bet he is secretly pleased with it too! I love the use of the gear cogs symbolizing his brain power. I understand your mixed feelings about his decision and hope he'll be ready to excel at MIT next year!
HEY!!! This is a really great masculine lo and I LOOOVE it!! Terrific layering. I love the mesh and the seal and the cogs are a terrific masculine substitution for flowers (LOL). What is that circle that you used for a frame?! I really like how you did the journaling and I like the distressed edges on the journaling block. The pic is great...he has great eyes!!
Heehee, I was just going to say, I'm so used to 'girly' layouts from you!! You do 'masculine' beautifully too!! great design and fun embellies.....it's fun to stretch creatively like that isn't it!
This is a photo of my son....yes i have 2 of them....lol...i rarely do any of their photos because they dont like to take them much....so now that i finally have some time to scrap away....only problem is no flowers??? Im really trying to go outside of my comfort level and do some guy lo's.....this was soooo hard for me...took me forever! Anyways as the story goes to this lo...my son is extremely intelligent and should be going to MIT next year, but he changed his mind and decided to stay closer to home....sigh....im happy and sad....hope he goes next year and becomes part of the 2013 graduating class..... TFL!
