There are so many things that I like about this one. As a mom (to only boys though) I can SO relate! And I really like how the title was done, I thought you did it subtly on purpose to mimic how the time just slips past us without us noticing! The border punching, the flowers and leaves, all wonderful, But you didn't mention the bird.... how did you do that cute bird?
Hey girl - I'm impressed. I have had a cricut for 6 months and hardly used it - shame on me! This is wonderful - I love the sentiment you have expressed in the lo. The sweet little bird at the top really completes the page. Don't worry - your girls may fly the nest at some point but they take a part of you and always come back plenty too!
You have a couple of beautiful daughters. :) REALLY like the way you used the embroidered bird. Overall, the whole thing is making me a bit wistful..... *sniff*
Looks like you did terrific job with your Cricut!! Loved reading your sweet description. Beautiful photos...where does the time go?? Love this wonderful LO it! ...I loved that movie, too!
Awwwww Nean! This is absolutely gorgeous! And very touching! It brought a tear to my eye.... Be careful cuz before you know it, they will be out on their own!...and all you will have are the memories.. and some discarded old clothes and things they didn't want to take with them....And I see that you used your Cricut! I love the title! Doncha just love that cartridge? I've used it in a couple of my pages. This is such an awesome page! I totally love it!! Can I "scraplift? can I "CroppyCat" the page? I came across the very first photo of me and Kel with Linzy and Jordan on the day we all met each other.....now to see if I even have a recent photo of me with all 3 of them!!!
I think its lovely... all of it. And I can relate to how you are feeling and mines are still lil, but yet I still cant remember where the time went. God BLess!
A recent and an old photo of me and my "grils". I keep watching the Merle Streep (she did a great job singing.who knew?) movie, Mama Mia because one of the songs I love is Slipping Through my Fingers which Ms. Streep sings as she helps her daughter get ready for her wedding. My dds aren't anywhere near getting married but still I can relate...they will be leaving some day and I am filled with this bittersweet feeling of love and gratitude for being blessed with them and guilt too for all the things I did or didn't do. The journaling is hidden under the photo. This was my first time using my cricut all by myself...before my sis was helping. my neighbor and I fooled around with it once and ripped a lot of stuff not doing it right but I sure love this machine. The title is not as clear as I'd hope but hey I'm a cricut newbie. I had to ink on the letters and I drew the veins and inked on the leaves too so that you could actually tell they're leaves.
