This is a scraplift of the "Pool Girl" lo by Putter http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/390113/view/2160813/-1/0/1.html

I just loved her lo, so I thought I'd try my hand at her techniques. This was such a fun lo to do.

I decided on the arrangement I wanted for my pics. Then I rounded the corners on the pics where I wanted the rounded corners....note that not all of the corners are round, I left the 'inside' corners squared so that the pics would fit together really well. Then, adhered the pics to a piece of cs, then trimmed around them to create the mat. I rounded the same corners on the cs mat. Then, I adhered the matted pics to the background pp.

I found the piece of pp that I wanted to use for the fussy cut borders. When I trimmed out my borders, I took into consideration the placement of the pics so that I wouldn't cover something I wanted visible. I then decided my borders needed a little something extra, so I adhered my fussy cut borders to a piece of cs and then trimmed that to create a very slim mat. I used foam dots to pop the borders up from the base and pics and adhered the borders to the page. I then folded two blue flowers and inked them with some silvery white ink. I adhered the folded flowers with some decorative brads.

I found a chipboard tag that worked with the colors and fit into the space where I wanted my journaling. I wrote the journaling with a black Zig pen, then sanded the edges of the chipboard and adhered the block to the pae with some blue mini brads.

Once, again, thank you, Putter, for the inspiration!
