GREAT job with the stitching. I'm looking at it and it's very cool how the stitching goes over parts of some petals and under others. The quotation really pulls the whole layout together, in my opinion.
I used the Home Accent cartiridge to cut the "petals" in different sizes of black and white. Then I hand stitched the red all around the border. I have never stitched before... it took forever, but I like it! Added flowers with a silver brad. It came out a little "retro" but I like it nonetheless. I printed the quote "Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation. -Lois Wyse." And then I stitched around it too!
This is for the Color Challenge (blk, wht and teal) TFL!
