I've decided to make a book about me for my sons and grand kids; things I want them to remember and know about me. The title to this page deals with the age-old question that is especially pertinent to the children of divorce;a question that my oldest son asked me when he was considering marrying his dear Danielle: "How do you know when love is real?" My answer is written on hidden journaling attached to the pull card. It's nothing I haven't told my sons before, but I decided to put it in writing with this picture of their parents when we were in love.

These "Afternoon Tea" SWR pps are so romantic. It doesn't show up in the photo, but I added a faint mask with pink glimmer mist on the bg pp that adds just that extra bit of glamor IRL. I also masked and misted the square of cream pp then layered it with the outer frame of BB chip board brackets, also glimmer misted with purple and pink, and topped it off with a Prima transparency that came in my July swilrydoos kit. It is hard to tell here, but it gives it a shadow box effect that is pretty cool IRL. The corner flourishes are also cut from the same transparency sheet. I trimmed around the photo with deco scissors, added a mat with corners that I rounded with scissors and then layered with foam stickers over the shadow box and BB chipboard frame. There is a lot of dimension to this page that just doesn't photograph well. I made the coffee filter roses using the Swirlydoos tutorial, adding some net for extra flair. I cut the butterflies on my silhouette and then stamped and layered them. I added lace trim purchased at the evil empire and pink liquid pearls and ended up with a page that I really love for all that it features my wedding to my ex! LOL!
