Something about this picture really gave me chills. It was taken just after Molly's 3rd birthday by her Auntie Becky (samsmom):)
The journaling reads:
When I first saw this photo all I could think was “she’s gone, my baby is gone.” In her place is a young girl; all signs of baby chubbiness are gone. There is a knowledge, a seriousness in your face. My eyes teared up when I realized that this photo was a glimpse into the future.
All too soon you would be “too old” to cuddle with your mom, that your “I love you too” would not come as frequently. My sadness was tempered with a hope for the person you will become, a smart, stong, confident young woman. I love you my girl.
