shcg: beautiful Wendy! I'm not sure about the title over the one photo (my cat would be arguing with me about being covered up like that). Love the treatment of the papers with the rolling and the layers. Just gorgeous!
SHCG: Great page for the awesome pics! I love the ribbon, the doodled border, the pps, the hearts, the bling swirls... The only thing that is not right for me are the flowers-I think they are too big and kind of overpower the hearts and the swirls. May be you can add the note that you put in the description to the lo. Your dogs are beautiful!
SHCG: I love all the layers going on... the rolled over pp is great... and the peek of shaped pp at the bottom is awesome. I've never thought to use it that way. At first I didn't like how the title went over a photo, but after looking at it I think it looks great! It's different and I like how you placed the letters so they don't cover anything up. Fantastic LO!
SHCG - Wow, this is stunning portrayal of a nice slice of your life, Wendy! Terrific pics. So much incredible eye candy! Love the layering of pp & embellies & the overall placement. All the techniques & added elements - Stickling, paper rolling, stapling, doodling(?), those neato clear stickers - together make this page such a sumptuous showpiece. The handwritten text you added to the "grateful" is precious & sincere. I confess that while I like those roses, I could visualize them smaller - I love the awesome hearts, bling swirls & ribbon on the lower right - but putting flowers that big in that spot steals my focus from the photos more than I'd prefer. But regardless, this is a gorgeous LO. Incredible work!
SHCG: Love the vintage elements to this page, like the ribbons and flowers. The three little hearts are a sweet touch, and I love the focal photo. I wish I could see a little bit of it peeking out from under the ribbon, and that the other photo weren't so obscured by the title. Maybe widen up the gap between the e and a. I love the info in your description and would have loved to see that funny side note somewhere on the page, as well, or at least as hidden journaling. I like the added texture of the rolled down pp, and the way you personalizied the grateful embellie. One more thing I can see done differently is rather than the dotted black border, sanded edges inked over in gold to pick up a little on those hearts. Great to see you back in action, Wendy!
