FUN TIP: Crocheted the fibers to create the border along the pumpkin photo. I took the photo at the patch and printed it on my wide printer.


JOURNALING: Every year, it seemed like the opportunity always passed us by . . . a trip to the pumpkin patch. Imagine my good fortune this year when a field of pumpkins caught my eye on the way to taking you both to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. After a god two hours of loud, excited, sugar-fueled children, I pulled out my secret weapon, knowing it would be my ONLY chance to get you guys away from Chuck E. Cheese. "Who wants to go pick out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch?" I never saw two little girls race to LEAVE Chuck E. Cheese so fast in my entire life! ONCe we were at the pumpkin patch, you two were absolutely amazing. You behaved so well and had a blast choosing your own pumpkins to decorate. "Thanks for letting us get our own pumpkins, Mom" you both said on the way home. I was touched that you would be thankful to do something as simple as pumpkin picking. But as far as pumpkins go, you two are MY favorite pumpkins . . . and I'm so thankful for you!
