"It was the first day of first grade and I was determined that Nick was big enough to walk home from the bus with the kids from the neighborhood. OK-Maybe not so much. I had sent ty to walk behind him and make sure he was ok. Soon, Ty busted thru the door screaming that Nick hadnt got off the bus. Frantically I called the bus depot. They paged the driver. He said at our stop, Nick folded his arms, sat back down, and said he was not getting off unless they took him to Mcdonalds. It took a while to convince him they werent taking him to McDonalds and the bus swung back around and dropped him off safely...AT HOME!
