This is excellent. I just received the Clip It Up product and I really like it and recommend it. But I absolutely love this idea. I wish I saw this sooner. Very clever!
I love this! I too have an inordinate amount of rub-ons! I often buy two of the ones I really like, that way it gives me permission to use one and not "worry"!!
You crack me up! I totally know what you mean - I see a rub-on that would be perfect, then can't bear to let it go forever. "Is this layout WORTH this rub-on?" LOL - I'm so glad I'm not the only one to do that!
So, I've kind of amassed a massive amount of rub-on transfers and stickers over the years, but have always shuddered at using them on projects because they're so gosh darn pretty. I got this idea for a homemade clipit up from some crafty ladies blog, whose name I forget right now. PM me if you want the info... but anywho, all it is are a couple screw hooks, a dowel and a LOT of washers, paperclips and mini clothespins. I think in total, it was about $25 for each shelf. And they each hold (on mine) 100 clips. I'd have to say this is one of my favorite parts of the room. I love being able to flip through all of my stickers and rub ons.
