This is a lift of OwenandAudrasMom's Sleeping Beauty. I did it for my friend Nikilynn's Challenge on our Secret Sister Forum. The photo is a scan of the original and is of my maternal grandmother taken in 1930 when she was in the first grade. The journaling tag has some facts from that time in her life. It says:

You informally changed your middle name to Sylvia because you hated Mae.
Your eyes were tinted blue in this photo but were really gray.
You were very shy and hated beeing called upon to answer a question.
Your mother made you keep your hair cut short which you hated.
You were a sharecropper's daughter and had to work in the fields after school with your brothers and sisters.
Most of the embellishments were cut out with my Silhouette. The flowers came off stem that I got at Michaels for a dollar and glimmer misted blue.
