I LOVE THIS!!! I am definitely getting into the more dramatic scrapbook pages that really just stand out and this is one of the most beautiful ones!!! And I love all of the techniques put into this page!!!
I can not believe you hand made that paper lace. How amazing. There are so many wonderful details in the beautiful beautiful LO. It's just beyond gorgeous!!
Well this lo got my attention for sure. I love the punch and then folded to look like lace. Perfect. Also, the picture of your dad brings back alot of memories. I miss him and know you do to. Lovely lo!!
This is so pretty, I love how you made the lace, the trellis and flowers are gorgeous. I just bought that Prima paper too and had such fun doing LO's with it. I love the line.
hey yet another adorable wedding lo so so adorably sweet, my do luv the paper pleating around the foto mount, gorgeous lil flourish, luv the lil embellies, and the shiny penny great lil trinket to cherish
I love your folding. Is this hard to do? I have seen this in a magazine where the gal did a full large circle and it looks seamless. Wonderful job. Any tidbits on how to do this would be appreciated.
Patty, you have been a busy lady!! I absolutely love love love that homemade lace you made with the border punch and how you circled it! Wow - I HAVE to do that, and this weekend!! hehe I saw this as a little thumbnail and the colors just popped out at me!
No where in this description does it say you took a nap! How can you manage to do all these techniques and not nap in between?!?!? I need lessons! :) Love what you did around that centre circle...the punching and pleating (yet ANOTHER thing I haven't thought of!!!) The pearls and flowers are beautiful, and I adore that lace butterfly. Ok, you have a Belgian Lace collection??? I'm definitely not in your league lol! A gorgeous page, Patty!!!
another big WOW! absolutely GORGEOUS!!! so many elegant and dazzling details! You sure are doing your wedding pages up right!!!!! :) the flowers here are DIVINE!!!!!
You're a short little thing! The colors you are using are perfect for those bridesmaid dresses. You're inspiring me to get cracking on my wedding pictures.
On this LO I cut some strips of pp, then border punched folded and inked them to look like lace. Glued it under the center circle. Also double border punched the latice design and applied ribbon. Used Prima flowers, leaves and goodies from my stash. Also, Used Grungeboaard above the picture. Painted it, then inked in gold. The butterfly is from my collection of Belgian lace.
The photo was taken in 1974 with my bridesmaids, flower girls and with my dad putting a shinny penny in my shoe...."something new".
