What a sweet story aabout how you rescued the cat and so cool that she has adopted your husband! And he doesn't seem to mind one bit!! Great pictures too!
Beautiful page and lovely story!! I hate when people don't take responsibilty for their pets but so happy you guys were able to take her in. I love the photos and pretty papers you used. Great title for the page.
What a wonderful story! I also love this lo! We have two cats now (at one time we had 4 and all of them are dead); and these two fight. We bought Fanci after we lost our 1st Himi; and after we lost our last cat, we bought a little Blue Lynx Persian we call Blue, and he's a typical little boy because he chases Fanci all over the house! He's now about 1 1/2 yrs. old, and I was hoping he'd calm down, but no such luck.......yet, anyway!
Awww, amazing. Wonderful story and such a beautiful kitty. I'm a truly believe that the kitty pics you...not the other way around. We aquired our kitty from my dd's sitter. Mr. Meowgee loved me from the day I met him at 2 mo old. He came to live with us at 6 months and follows me everywhere. Great lo. TFS.
I read all your posts on the VLB thread and I think its just wonderful you saved her and your DH has found a new best friend :) what a pretty pg! love the pps and layering!
A+ on the journaling!! I love cats too! Our cat will crawl up on my DH and sleep the night away!! Our cat too was a rescue cat-you have a good heart!! jen
What precious pictures! Love the top right one - she's a gorgeous cat! I wish so much I could have one, but we're all allergic. Bravo to you all for taking her in!!
aww what a kind thing for your husband and you to do. I love the story and pictures. I have a mommy with 4 kittens right now too and everything is a threat to their babies. My male cat can not even come in the house because the mom gets highly upset. I'm sure it will pass.. Bless you for taking her in.
and this is such a lovely LO to honor that.
What a softy your tuff coal miner is! Mine too! We have a cat that is his lap cat too, though she didn't come from the mine. Great story and pix, and love the use of this kit for these pix!
She's gorgeous and deserves a loving home (and lap). How nice of your DH to bring her home and thank you for letting him! Looks like like the love is very mutual! Very cute page, Anna.
Great lo! I love the photo with her snuggled up with your hubby. Its awesome that you guys took her in. I'm a softy when it comes to cats...and all the strays in my neighborhood know it. I need to live on a farm so I can keep them all lol
I just love the top pic with her nuzzling herself to your dh. It's precious. And the little hearts are perfect. She's very cute and looks quite content and happy. Kuddo's to you and your hubby!
Some of you may remember me mentioning the young cat that showed up at the mines where my husband works. He was the only one she would have anything to do with so he ended up bringing her home. We had her two weeks before we could get her in with the vet and by that time we had already figured out she was with kittens. And we assume that is the reason she was dumped. To make a long story short, we now have four new kittens! She loves my dh and is definitely his cat. She crawls up on him and loves on him every night. These photos were taken not long after we got her. And as you can tell she still had dirty places in her white hair. She was so dirty from the coal dirt but we now have her cleaned up and all of her white hair is white except for one spot on her neck that is still dirty looking. She is a very good mother to her babies. She is so protective of them. She doesn't have a very good relationship with our other cat, Sir Thomas or my daughter's cat, Colonel. She has demonstrated some very serious attitude towards them. We assume she considers them a threat to her babies. I hope this attitude changes after the kittens are weaned and have homes.
