I'm not a big fan of sailboats, ship's wheels, ties, and some of that other stuff that is common to see for Father's Day. I wanted to make some cards that reminded me of MY dad who happens to work with wood, metal, and other sorts of hardware. I used a Cuttlebug with 2 different folders (distressed stripes, diamond plate) and some cork sheeting for the textures. the corrugated alphas were simply inked up a bit and I used tiny metal brads for "nails" in the board.
