Firstly....these photos are just beautiful!!! I love how you used spring colors and how you added the stickles to your beautiful flowers and stems! Stunning LO!!!
Rhonda, I'm not quite sure how I missed commenting on this LO, but I'm thinking it's pretty amazing. The color scheme is absolutely spectacular - and she may not say so now, but in years to come, that journaling will mean the world to her.
I truly love the wonderful colours and the darling photos, Rhonda! What an awesome idea to include Madison's likes at this age. I also enjoyed reading your detailed and sweet journaling! Beautifully done, Rhonda!
What a Fabulous memory page....she will be able to look back on this year and totally remember how life was. I also have a "tween" and it is astonishing how they change almost every day. :) Love the green and purple...BEAUTIFUL!
My dd Madison. These are her 4th grade spring photos. This last school year was a big one for her, and me as well. The journaling down in the lower right corner reads- LOVES Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift! Huge Twilight fan! Played on the basketball team at the YMCA for the first year! Had your first sleep-over! Got your first hamster's, Bailey and Pumpkin. Finally got your own room, no more sharing with Kenzie! There is also a note to her on the back of the page, it reads- " Your fourth grade year was very exciting for you. Mrs Boyer was your teacher. You really came out of your shyness this year, making many friends at school. You went on your very first big kid field trip, to Hermann MO about 3 hours away. You also went to church camp for the first time, and didnt seem like being 3 hours away from home was a big deal. This year was also the year that I realized my little girl was growing up. It was the first time I heard the words Aeropostale, Nike, IPOD, email and Facebook come out of your mouth, in your tiny little voice. You became a "tween" this year, very hormonal and emotional, but still very sweet. This is also the first year that I realized I could trust you to watch your little sisters if I needed to be away for a few minutes. When I look at you, I still see the tiny little girl that needs her snuggle blankey. I know I cant stop you from growing up, and I'm sorry if I'm too over-protective and clingy. One day, you will understand what it's like being a mother and watching your kids grow up and change right before your very eyes. I love you Madison Taylor! Love, Mom. (she gets embarassed when I sign things Love Mommy) I have been seeing alot of pages posted lately using aqua, green and purple togther, so I thought I would try it. I made the aqua and purple flower, using Gabrielle P's punch flower technique. TFL and have a great weekend! ~Rhonda
