My Sister Susan and her son Wil, flew in from WA, my dd Lisan, Jack and Hillary drove down from Maryland, and Matt and I drove up to NC for the long Thanksgiving weekend in Nov '99. We spent the weekend visiting my Mom, (grndma and great-gradma ) in her Nursing Home in Pinehurst. This is one of the photos of ds and I in the dining room. She was very happy, content, had just had her hair done in the beauty shop and seemed to enjoy our visit a lot!!!! This was the last time Susan and I saw her as she passed away in Aug of 2000 not long after her 90th birthday. She was so happy to have lived to see a new century. She was born in 1910....imagine the things she saw.......and lived in those 90 years!!!!!!
