What a simply beautiful LO and a touching tribute to your parents. Your journaling is heartfelt as well as a true picture of what real love is all about. Great work!
This lo is simply beautiful, your journaling is beautifully written and brought tears to my eyes aswell. There are no words one can express that will make your loss easier, but I am so very sorry. The love your parents shared is one that we all dream about and strive for, they are an inspiration to us all.
I am sorry for your loss and for your families loss. You can't help but tear up after reading your journaling. To know love in the way your parents did and lived it as an example to those around them must have been such a blessing. Your layout is simple but has so much depth at the same time. You did a beautiful job.
your layout is wonderful...so simple and yet so dignified. if you had of added anything else i think it would have taken away from your message and minimized what that photo represents. i am sorry for your loss.
I am sitting here wiping the tears from my eyes as I read your sweet touching journaling. How very sad but wonderful that they had all those years together. It's evident that you put your heart and soul into this layout and it is a beautiful tribute to 'true love' and the real meaning of 'until death do us part'. You did a wonderful job here!
Journaling: I took this picture of my mom and dad the day before we buried her. It would be the last time my dad was able to hold her hand and look into her face. I cannot express with words his sadness nor the grief that would follow in the days to come. Although I didn't realize it at the time, my father was burning my mothers' image into his mind and heart. How do you say goodbye to someone with whom you've shared fifty years? Years filled with the happiness of raising children & their children, of holidays, anniversaries and the joys of everyday life. Years also filled with the sadness of burying two of their children and one grandchild who died at 16. Years of facing many obstacles including the illness that eventually took my mom's life. Yet, they faced all of those good and bad times together. How do you move forward and try to put an entire life behind you when that life is what you lived for? I cannot imagine how my dad felt then, nor how he feels now without my mom at his side. I can however, express how much I admire his bravery when it came her time to go and how proud I am of him for keeping his promise to her to live his life to the fullest. Until they meet again...
