Hidden Journaling (n Envelope On Back Of LO):
The camera, at one time, was quite possibly the scariest thing in the world to me. I would do just about anything to make sure I was NOT included in a photo. Of course there is no way to avoid the occasional family photo or surprise snap shot so there are pictures of me in existence but I was not happy to claim myself in them. And then something miraculous happened…I became photogenic!! I don't know if my self-confidence finally emerged, my Darling David inspired a new me or my hair just got better, but I can happily be in pictures now! This might seem minor to some but my newfound love of pictures opened a new chapter in my entire life! I began seeing picture opportunities around every corner and just had to capture them all. So now my new Kodak Digital camera (or Kreuzer for short) is by my side wherever I go. Family events, walks in the woods, date night, vacations, road trips…there is beautiful life to be seen and photographed all around us. Plus without these amazing pictures I wouldn't have as much inspiration to put into my scrapbook pages. My life is being preserved not only on film but in memory books which is really special to me. I found this photography quote and wanted to share it with everyone as I really find it touching, not only to me but how it applies to each and every one of us.
“And if these pictures have anything important to say to future generations it's this: I was here. I existed. I was young. I was happy, and someone cared enough about me in this world to take my picture”.
