Love the light and shadows in this painting! This is AMAZING! I am a horse girl, myself, so this sure did catch my eye! I rode western pleasure, but have done some English. (Check out pages four and eight in my gallery). I grew up with horses on my grandad's farm. What a LOVELY painting, Sandy!!

I love having this painting in my special room - it gives me a good feeling looking at it - although also is painful/sad to look at. He died this past Aug. I scrapped a scrapbook of his life for my mother, who is 94 and lives in PA. where I am from.

Jack on Coyote, with his dogs on the ground, in front of his Gulfstream Horse Farm in VA. Jack was a well known and respected horse showman, won many awards and promoted the horse shows all over. Coyote won so many shows and was Jack's favorite of all the horses he owned and showed.
