Lovely LO, Michelle! Your "home grown" flowers are very sweet, and your design is wonderful.....BTW.....as a retired teacher who has taught 9-year olds, your DD did some A+ work on her poem. I always loved to see children try their hands at writing!!! Your entire LO is INSPIRATIONAL!!!
Very beautiful lo...I always say the right papers come along some day! What a sweet little poem to be written by a 9 year old. Love the colours and design and pretty embellies...great cutwork with the pussywillow!

Glad you saved that darling poem, Michelle! I find myself doing the same thing (saving as many of my kids' creations as possible - LOL)!! Love the beautiful photo and the most fabulous design and colours!
Oh, Michelle, this is absolutely precious! Adorable pic of Chelsea, and that poem she wrote is simply amazing, and it shows her artistic nature already at that young age. I mean, holy crow, she used the word "undulating" ! :) Love the design with the circle and scalloped edge! Those pussy willows are PERFECT! Such pretty layered flowers, and the bees buzzing about are so cute! This page is spring-ing into my FAVES!!
such a sweet cute poem your daughter wrote and what a wonderful page you created here...the foto and the details are all so adorable..luv the fancy punched border edge too
Not bad, indeed! Talent runs in your family!!!!! This page is totally awesome, Michelle! I love everything about it, especially the memory that you preserved! I love that you kept this poem, too!
WOW!!!!! She wrote that at age 9????? I didn't even know what "undulating" meant at that age!!! And you're right!!!! Those pp's are perfect!!!! GORGEOUS work Michelle!!!!
When DD Chelsea was a little girl , she wrote this sweet poem on a scrap of paper ...and being the Mom/scrapper/pack rat that I am I have always kept it. When I saw these K and Co papers full of pussywillow patterns I knew I had the perfect match for her poem. This pic was taken the same summer she wrote the poem at age 9. The poem reads.. "Pussywillows sway in the air, Undulating in the spring breeze. Soft and fuzzy, Simple by design, Young sign of spring. Waving merrily at me, I love to feel it's softness. Lovely, it is Lazing in the sunlight. Only flower I know of whisping in the wind. Spring will come if you see one." Not bad for a nine year old is it??? TFL!
