great job with the sketch - really like the darker colors-the gray and black look very nice - very nice shiny title work too - great job getting a pic with *no one else*
I love this -- all wonderful pics! I love that you put a hidden Mickey on all your Disney pages. I only did that on one page from our last trip, but for the next one, I may have to use your great idea. You're right about the Grand Californian -- that's where we stayed when we visited DL.
I love it (even the painted Disney)...it reminds me that Disney isn't just for kids & the lo's don't have to be for little ones. Awesome awesome job!!!
Fabulous 2 page layout and such wonderful photo's and memories to scrap! I love the colours you have used and I think the word Disneyland looks great in black!
Oh, Jeannie! What a wonderful 2-pager! We love Disney World (never been to Disneyland, though). We went to DW in January and are going back in July! Love your papers; I'm pretty sure I have them. Wouldn't it be nice if I used them? LOL!! Anyway, I love this!!!!!!!!!!!
...about Disneyland 2009. More from our trip to Disneyland 2009. This is for the 2 page sketch challenge. As usual there is a hidden Mickey head...but I have to tell you where it is cuz it doesn't show up on the photo...I put together 1 teeny and 2 teenier rhinestones to make a Mickey head and stuck it on the Christmas tree. The big photo is kind of dark but what I love is that at that second it was shot there was nobody else in the photo..and actually it was quite crowded there. It's a tradition that we HAVE to have Monte Cristo sandwiches at the Blue Bayou restaurant...HAVE to. We met up with my brother and his wife at the Grand Californian..if you've never been there..go..sit in the lobby or the bar...what grandeur! And lastly, the grils got birthday pins and wore them the whole time we were there and so they were given free desserts every place we went for 3 days. The trip was a bday gift and actually fell between their birthdays. I quite liked this layout til I painted the word Disneyland (made by scrafx) with black enamel. I added rhinestones for a bit of bling. Mickey is a rubon from my stash, probably Ek. The tiny red glitter letters are MM Metro and show up better IRL.
