These are photos of our home that Sarah made in March 2011. I just love these new pps - Crate Paper Neighborhood - sooooo cute and just perfect for my layout. The design is based on a PageMaps sketch.
I started by lightly sanding the edges of the photos, then matting them as one. The ladybug border is punched and then inked with a pen. The hexagon border is handcut from the pp, inked and doodled. The bird, house and cloud are die cuts. The title circle was cut with a Coluzzle and the pink edging handcut with deco scissors, then inked. The bird, circle, house and cloud are pop dotted. The grass, tree, notes, "tweet home" lettering and ladybug are stamped. The tree "heart" leaves were colored with pens and doodled. The tags were punched then I cut around the printed design to scallop the bottom, then the lettters were stamped, inking to the edges and attached with DMC making french knots. The blue zig zag stitching is done by hand. The flower and buttons are attached with DMC. Thanks for looking!
