June color challenge of Peacock
June sketch challenge, week 3

I was looking for pictures that would go good with the peacock colors. I came across these old photos which I had already mounted and had the perfect colors in them.

All the paper I used in this layout were from my scrap box The white background is one of the white pages that come in a scrapbook.

In the pictures, my youngest sister trying to burn our oldest nephew and his sister Jessica on the slide. This was when my sister lived in Kimbolton, OH. A year later, the town flooded and destroyed many of the homes and small businesses. This was property my father had bought when I was in school in the 70's. Then he sold all but two acres to my sister's husband's grandmother. Then she passed and my sister and her family moved down there until the flood. It was fun for the kids to run, for us to hike and at the bottom of the hill was a river. Most of the people in town were poor and most of the houses that flooded got burned down.

I should probably write this all down and include it on the back of the page.
