**Submitting this now just in case I can't get the top fixed before midnight tonight... I want to add the title 'Love Blooms' up by the butterflies. Will update this photo when that's done.**
For the the June Monochrome Challenge: Week 2 - Favorite Rose color. I'm not a big fan of roses, but I do like those antique orangey ones, which I realized as I was doing this LO were in my wedding bouquet! Go fig... my flourist was fantastic like that... I'd actually meant to make this page specifically about my bouquet, but loved the way this photo looked against the orange backdrop. Our wedding theme was 'Falling in Love' and we had leaves and fall stuff all over the place, even though the wedding was actually Sept. 2.
This is also for the Old Page Maps #29: Week 1. I'm not wild about that top bar, but I loved the paper too much not to include it - it's a coppery metalic color irl.

I used the doilies as masks to mist on the bottom right and top near the stitching. Painted the leaves with inks and mists and inked the flourish with the red and walnut colors. The two doily-looking pieces are chipboards - one I painted with the Indian Summer Glaze, the other I covered with the same paper I used to matte the back of the photo. I also misted the big cream flower with the Copper mist to give it a little shimmer.
