My grandparents on my mother's side... This was at the wedding in 1968. My grandma was a real lady. In her later life she suffered of diabetes and her one leg was amputated - so she was in a wheelchair. Her hair was always nicely done at the hairdressers. I was named after her (Maria Dorothea Margaretha) I always hated those names..... My grandpa was chairman of so many things. He died of a stroke many years before granma. I remember him in a different way - while all the grownups were sitting inside drinking tea or coffee, he was sitting was us - telling all fun stories. He was a great story-teller.
