I walked out to go to the Post Office this morning to mail some swap packages and Kayla was going to work, when I saw this. Kayla hung with me for a little while I called the cops, but there wasn't really anything she could do. It was just that my car windshield got bashed in last night. Talked to the police when he finally came, but unless they have a suspect they can't really do anything. Nothing was stolen out of my car (but there is nothing valuable in it anyway) so it was just an act of vandalism. BOO!!! It sucks, cause now I have to claim it on my insurance--at least it is covered with only a deductible that I am responsible for paying. I do not understand why people feel the need to destroy others' property!?!? I can understand if you have no money and steal something out of a car--at least there is a motive (money) for breaking into the car! But to just vandalize something?? There is no rational reason for it!
