My 2 best friends found out they were expecting within weeks of each other. I couldn't have been more excited for them. The plan was to make 2 trips home to be there when they arrived. But God decided to make it a bit easier, and the babies ended up being born 12 hours and 11 minutes apart. One on January 24 and the other on January 25. This is my friend Ashley's son, Jaxsyn Ryder Ashley. He was born January 24, 2011 and this is one of his hospital pictures. For Ashley's first Mother's Day, I created this lo.Used sketch 44 @ the scrappiest by marthasdaughter. The pps were all bought at Hobby Lobby and are by The Paper Studio. The "Little Prince" medal is made by making memories. The "Welcome Baby" tag is by Little Yellow Bicycle from the BabySaurus Collection. I used an EK Success border punch and then stitched in the holes. Along the border I used blue pears from Jolee's "All That Bling", they were a strip and I cut and placed them individually. The little choo-choo train stamp is from Betty's collection. I was looking for something extra to add to the page, and sent a pic via text message to my mother (who does not scrapbook, but I'm trying to convince that she should!) suggested adding the train by his name. I ended up doing quite a bit of stamping on this page. One the back of the lo I did some special journaling, just for Ashley and her husband. I didn't keep a copy of it, because I wasn't planning on posting that part on sb.com when I uploaded. That's all for this one, TFL! :)
