awww...that's so sweet-love those pics of brother and sister together! You've done a great job with the unusual colours, and I'm sure your album will be really special to her, because it's from the heart and you're not just capturing the glamour of the day,but the emotions and the sharing. I love the handstitching!!
wonderful LO! you have incorporated the wedding colours beautifully into your LO. the lucky couple are going to 'over the moon' with all these lovely albums the family are making to memoralise their special day. it will be lovely to see everyone's different perspectives.
Laurie, this is so WONDERFUL!! Definitely moments that Andrea will want to remember (as we all know the day can be a little overwhelming for the bride.) You created and described this lo PERFECTLY - "masculine with a touch of femininity". Love the hand stitching. You also did a fantastic job staying true to the wedding colors - the black/grey looks so good with the touches of red and orange. You're on a roll now, keep them coming!!!!
I just found out that the groom's sister is doing a very pretty, professional-looking, digi album for the couple. The groom's mom is also doing a smaller album. I'm trying to capture meaningful moments, funny moments, etc. and tell a story from our perspective and what we saw and heard. I'm trying to highlight what I think is important to the bride (my step-granddaughter). So, this is my step-grandson. He is just the sweetest guy and they have a great brother/sister bond. In the midst of all the chaos and picture taking, the bride suddenly said, "I want my brother". We totally understood why!!! :o) The colors for the wedding were red and orange...not always easy to work with. She had beautiful dark red roses and those gorgeous deep, orange tiger lilies along with orange-tipped, yellow roses and some white for good measure. The boutonnieres were red roses. I wanted this lo to be masculine, with a touch of femininity for the bride, so I didn't want to put a lot of bling and flowers. Did a little punching and some hand stitching. Thank you Vickie (Happy Go Lucky) for the flower stickers and "forever" embellie. Thanks so much for taking your time to look and share in our special day.
