Loved reading your story. My dad was stationed at Norfolk. I was born at the naval hospital there. Terrific job with this page...love the photo of JFK!

Wow! What a story, and you told it so well. I remember when this happened, too, and how scared everyone was - but didn't go through anything like your family did. Wonderful LO.
I remember watching President Kennedy giving a speech about this when I came home from school and my Dad commenting on it being a hard thing for a President to have to do. Great layout.
