SHCG - What a funny story, hilarious that you were sat under a mammoth display! Cool hidden journaling idea. Cute title too, the papers you used for the letters & the background are just right for the prehistoric theme of this LO. I can visualize some element further tying everything together, how about a thin border of orange paper (same as the mouse ears are cut from) border either the top & bottom, or the left & right? As usual, love your use of many fun photos!
SHCG: Great hidden journaling idea. I like the mouse ears peeking through, so I'd like to see them form a visual triangle. I think this can be accomplished by moving the T-Rex pic with the mouse ears down to the center of the first column of pics. Then, I can see a smaller mouse head between mammoth and of in your title, maybe even with some dinosaur teeth drawn in. I like the outlined title; it stands out nicely across this colorful spread.
shcg - that's a such a great story that I wish it was displayed somewhere on this page! I like how you added the Mickey ears just so you remember it was part of your Disney trip. The He-Rex & She-Rex -- great idea to cut them out of the photos versus just having cropped into rectangles. :)
This is a play on words as we had been teasing my godson about how hairy he is getting and called him Manny (as in the woolley mammoth in Ice Age) and when we went into TRex to eat they sat us at a table under a Woolley Mammonth display. We had so much fun with that...Sean took it in stride. oops, forgot to mention that all the journaling, including the info above, is under the He-Rex and She-Rex "stones"...they flip up.
