I am so moved by this page. Thank you for sharing... I am touched by your support and love for your daughter, and I can only imagine that it means so much to her. This is a beautiful and thoughtful way to honor her.
Such a beautiful and warm page. The most important thing in life that we can do for ourselves is be happy, the second most important thing is to have unconditional love from those who are nearest to us. This page illustrates those two things beautifully!!
What a wonderful LO! Kim is gorgeous. What a fabulous, supportive mom you are and I love that you scrapped her transformation/journey into the person she is at heart.
bless you for being so supportive of your child; it must be a difficult adjustment for you. I love the way you blended the colours here; your Lo has so much emotion in it; I hope scrapping this journey has helped you as you work through it. All the best to Kim!
Beautiful layout! I recently watch a documentary on this issue and it was such an eye opener! Kim is so lucky to have such a supportive family! I wish her all the best!
This is wonderful in so many ways.. I love how art can be an expression of the heart.. and you accomplished it in this LO! Great work... love the texture and feel from the LO!
Love the blended colors on the cardboard & border strip. You are an amazing mother of a great child! I wish more people were as loving and kind as you are :)
A very touching LO ELaine, thank you for sharing. I see and feel a tenderness within the layout. A wonderful job on the lift. I really like the the blended colors, I need to try that technique with the paper towel.
This is my oldest child, born William Lukas aka Luke, and just reborn, as Kimberly Ann aka" Kim". I have a lot of mixed emotions, but bottom line, this is my beloved child and a wonderful, beautiful person. When I'm with Kim, it feels the same as being with Luke. When I think about it otherwise, sometimes it seems as if Luke as gone away, even though I know that's crazy. Her official name change was filed November 7, 2011. She has a new driver's license, too.
This fulfills a couple AGC challenges-half the weekly to follow a tutorial and use it on 2 LOs (next one will use it, too), and to use my favoruite color on at least 50% of the LO. The mixture of pink/purple/bleu/aqua is my favorite "color" blended them together, both on the cardboard and on the large border strip. Painting with two colors on the cardboard using a paper towel is for the other challenge,
This is also for the Scraplift from the person before you challenge and I was blessed to follow lpeeps who's is amazing. I lifted her. LO "I Love Being Your Mom".
