LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Years ago, I did a prayer journal (this was before I became a scrapbook addict, so it was just a store-bought journal) and wrote my prayer requests, then left room for how God answered them, or if unanswered, what blessings resulted. A few years later, I found the journal again after a move, and went back in and was blown away by all of the masterful ways He orchestrated the answers to each and every one of my prayer requests. I had forgotten entirely what I had written in there, which turned out to be proof that we so often pray w/o going back to see how He so beautifully answered...so we can give Him His proper and well deserved praise. I also learned - there in black and white - that there was always something really amazing that happend when He DIDN'T answer my prayer request. This is really a great idea and as a side note, I LOVE that H.L. box too!
Wonderful idea. My sister files the Christmas cards she receives and prays for each family throughout the year. It's good to remember and mark when God answers prayer!
This is a prayer file I made to keep track of prayer request and praises. I use library cards that can easily be moved between sections as needed. To see many more photos and complete details, please see my post here:
