I saw a scrapbook challenge at the beginning of the year on the Scraping The Music website. When I saw the song of the week "Piece of my Heart" by Janice Joplin I knew it was the perfect title for a LO I wanted to make for my dearest friend who's dog passed away a few dys before Christmas. Unfortunately I had to have gall bladder (great way to start off the first week of the new year) and was not able to participate in the challenge. But I still wanted to make this for my friend as her heart ill be in pieces for a long time and her pup was a HUGE piece of her heart.

I added some blank journal spots so she could add what she wanted to write. The puzzle pieces are from the Cricut Cartridge Learning Curve, and I embossed some of the pices with my cuttlebug and/or used the Tim Holtz inks around the edges. I Stickled around the big heart.
