Ah, yes, now I remember why I said I would never do water distressing again... I just do not have the patience for it, and I had trouble keeping the paper from pulling the whole LO out of whack. Sigh. But, I wanted to do something fun with the newsprint pp to make it look, er um, ...used. LOL

Anyway, these are pics from a litter of puppies one of my best friends had in her family. The close-up is the one I wanted. There is an epoxy sticker on the photo that says Happiness is a Warm Puppy! Charles Schulz.

Journaling: When her brother's dog Shadow had 12(!) puppies, Darla was there to help deliver them. I met them at 5 1/2 wks, & I fell in love with the black & white girl. I wanted her so badly, but Abby was barely a year & Lexie could not handle another puppy. February 16, 2008

This is for the February One Month at a Time Challenge in which all the photos for the LO's must be taken during any February - these are Feb '08. This is Week 3, which required:
1. Non-traditional Valentines Day colors & patterns, i.e. no red or pink or hearts;
2. No people in the photos;
3. Paint (I used black for the title/journaling & date spots and brown around the edge of the bg polka dot pp);
4. Something recycled (I used the old packaging from some Prima flowers as the photo mat & accent).
