This picture is of my maternal grandparents Leo and Marion Smedley. This is when they were on their honeymoon I believe, from the way they are dressed and the flowers she is wearing I imagine so.

I spent all day on this layout. My hands are stained and my head hurts but I am pretty happy with the outcome. The flower in the lower left side is made from a Hawaiian lei I found for sale at the thrift store. Came home and took one of them apart and hit it with my homemade Patina shimmer mist (which is now gone 2 oz bottle!) and held it together with a brad, it already had hole in the middle. The chipboard frames I misted, stamped, painted, chalked and embossed. I guess I'll have to do close ups of this because you can't really see all the detail. The resist canvas in the lower right and left corners I misted and highlighted with stickles. I made the ribbon flower in the top right corner and used an old button my aunt gave me. The tiny ribbon roses attached to the outer frame started out life pink...I misted them to make them match everything. I watched a paper distressing/inking tutorial by craftysprinkles this morning and I love the way the paper in the background came out. It totally looks all old and stuff! The stamped title "Having Fun" I did before I laid everything down and is covered by the memories tag because it was blocked by the outside frame. This was the last full sheet of paper I had left from the kit, and I have one more vintage layout to do. Thank you for your time and your comments and thanks for looking!
