Here’s something worth smiling about: an idea that uses embossing ever so elegantly. Textured Impressions Embossing Folders bring texture and design to the forefront for the most creative backgrounds and embellishments.
Create a card base by folding a piece of white cardstock in half. Use a corner rounder to cut edges. Emboss card front using the Country Foliage embossing folder and ink to highlight the design. Cut a strip of patterned paper to fit across card front and adhere in place. If desired, embellish with stitching. Add a strip of decorative trim along the seam of the patterned paper and embossed cardstock along the card front. Die-cut Vines (from Frame, Leaves & Flower) out of cardstock and adhere to the card front. Die-cut Flowers #3 out of cardstock, crinkle to add dimension, embellish flower centers with jewels and adhere to the card front. Emboss a piece of white cardstock using the Phrase, You Make Me Smile embossing folder, trim “Smile” away and ink to highlight the design. Attach sentiment to card. Embellish with a ribbon bow.
