You are right, she looks absolutely beautiful, and guess what I do not retouch photos of me, it totally freaks me out-lol! I actually like seeing the character in peoples faces. What a beautiful job you did scrapping her! Love all the ST Patty's papers and pieces! So a FAV!
Cindy, this is absolutely beautiful. Love your mother's photo. It makes me miss my mother so much and remember her and her struggles at this age also. Like how you covered up the signs and your masking.

I LOVE this -- what a wonderful picture --- she looks so happy and no wonder -- meeting daughters for lunch! Your title is perfect and of course so is the layout!
A beautiful title for this beautiful lady. She looks so healthy and happy and I am glad you were able to capture this wonderful photo. Great job of covering the signs and logo's in the background.

this is great, and your mom is a lovely lady! Terrific job covering up the unwanted elements in your photo, and love what you did with the modelling paste.
Cindy, what a truly lovely lo and photo of your Mom. at 86 she looks MARVELOUS!! Lovin' all the green too. your border made with modeling paste is very creative - as is your whole lo.
At 86, life isn't easy for my Mom. She's happy here though, joining her daughters Terry and Cindy for lunch in LaVale. February 2012
I made this layout near St. Patrick's Day as my Mom has family from Ireland and her favorite color (like mine) is green. I loved this picture of her, which is "untouched" as I thought she looked absolutely beautiful with no makeup and the wind blowing through her hair.
For the top border, I mixed modeling paste with a touch of acrylic paint, then spread it over the Tim Holtz mask adhered to a dark green background. I cut around the best impressions for my top border, and stamped onto the dried paste with a darker turquoise color. In my picture, I covered the credit card signs and the store logo with my journaling block and pp shamrock so that it wouldn't look like an advertisement.
