April 21, 2012 - Duck Lake, Gogebic Co. Michigan UP Earth Day Weekend Up North

This is for the April One Month at a Time Challenge in which all the photos for the LO's must be taken during any April - this one is from April '12. This is Week 4 which required:
1. Recycled/re-purposed metal - I used a bead chain I had sitting around;
2. Something round - I used a satellite image of the earth from the internet;
3. Earth tone colors: greens, blues, browns; and
4. All scrap papers - Everything on this LO is a scrap including the background papers.

The kraft and brown bg cs's both had been used in my Cricut so I put them together to form a complete 12x12 and tore off the part of the kraft that had letters cut out of it. The clouds were cut from scraps using the Graphically Speaking cart on my Cricut, and then I outlined them with White Opal Liquid Pearls. I printed the earth on a half piece of white cs. The 'bracket' is actually left over packaging from a Cricut cartridge that I covered with a scrap of cardstock. All the strips of pp and ribbon came as is out of my small scrap basket. The journaling block is the left over half of one I cut to use on another page. All the alphas are from partially used packages. The metal tag that says 'Destination' is left over from some other vacation pages I did a long time ago.

TFL!
