Give a Cheer
June 8, 2012, was "National Best Friends Day." My friend Katie invited me over for some fun, good food, and time with great friends. We scrapped that day for a few hours. Well, I certainly went crazy with the punch work on this layout. I thought I'd try using a whole bunch of punches, and I like the end result. I made the large pink and blue flowers, based on an image I saw on Pinterest by Gabrielle Pollacco. The leaves and paper flourishes are cut on my Cricut, and the gorgeous shimmery pieces of latte flourish are by Flourish with a Bling. I cut up a Jasmine puffy latte flourish and placed pieces in each floral arrangement. I had those little rose buds in a craft box in my basement, likely from long before I was scrapping.
I scrapped this photo once before, but I gave that layout to my friend Katie for "National Best Friend's Day." I made this one for my album. Her wedding colours were teal and pink, but I didn't have much in the way of teal, so I went with the blues I had on hand.
