One of my favorite photos of my mom and me -- I was maybe five months old here? There aren't very many photos of us, unfortunately. August 7 will be 7 years since she passed away, and since I started scrapping, I find myself missing her more now than I have in years. I scanned the original photo, which has a tear in it, so that's why the photo looks a little wonky.
This was my first time painting on a LO. I painted some canary yellow around the photo. I had also painted a chipboard frame to go around it, but didn't like how it looked.
VLB Challenge: Ha! I didn't know we had a stickle challenge this week, but I glitter-glued the centers of the flowers and some dots and flourishes to the right of the butterfly.
Use your scraps: The tree paper and the paper right under the photo are both scraps.
