My dd got hooked on Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus sometime in 2007. This LO has memorabilia from February 2008 -- movie tickets & Cassie's Valentine to me.
The journaling is printed on vellum and says: Cassie loves Hannah and Miley. She was Hannah for Halloween last year, gave out Hannah Valentines this year, and has Hannah Montana Crocs. Miss Kim even chose the Miley song 'Let's Dance' on Cassie's suggestion for Cassie's Jazz class's recital piece. So, when Disney made a big deal about the "limited" run of the HM & MC Best of Both Worlds Concert movie (it was supposed to be in theaters for only one week), I ordered tickets in December for the February release. We got to the theater an hour early to wait in line for good seats. It was packed, of course, and all shows were long sold out. Cassie loved it, and we had a good time. Then, Disney extended the run, and it was ultimately out for 15 weeks. Oh well, it was fun to be part of the excitement.
I used the July Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 2 Bonus sketch for this LO.
The title and butterflies were cut with the Hannah Montana Cricut cart. I made the scallop strip with my Martha corner rounder. I color copied the back of the Valentine to show where Cassie wrote on it. The front is the picture of Miley and Billy Ray. The movie poster and HM/MC picture are images from the internet.
