After almost 7 years of scrapping, I attended my first ever convention in May 2012.

We had 3 classes that day, a mixed media class with Prima Canvas mini album, Pan Pastels and other Prima products being the main focus, then another double page male layout, and we ended off the day with the Talented Ladies of Graphic 45 showing us a mini album with the Travelogue Range. Most of us dressed up Vintage in honor of G45

Anyway, I scrapped my experience on G45 paper, added G45 buttons, left overs from some of the other classes, and used original Packing on my page, and my name tag.

I'm a bit of a control freak at heart, and don't like change I have no control over. Not knowing what was coming on was a bit stressful for me. Can I do the techniques they teach? Will I be able to keep up? What if my stuff comes out a mess? I'm glad to say that after that day I'm hooked on conventions and open to learning new ideas.

The fussy cut leaves show my growth as a scrapper into the previously unknown territory, and the Bird - me taking flight into new directions.

Packaging used- G45 Metal Hinges – used for Journaling tag. Prima Flowers – Used for Title Background. Tim Holtz Tissue Tape backing. Prima Alphabet Packing – Cherished Moments banner cut from packaging.
