I always like kraft pp and then don't know how to use it. I was initially going to use G45 Little Darlings for this vintage photo, but it didn't look right. I then thought of my G45 kraft collection and realized that this was the perfect photo for it. It was taken circa 1921 and is my mother's brother, Ted.

Because my heritage album is chronological, it will be some time before I get to adult pictures of Uncle Ted, so I've used the envelope on this baby page to insert my memories of him, some of which, I've written below.

My sister and I always used to call him "Uncle". When I was little, he lived downstairs from us, with my Grandmother and Grandfather. He was bedridden at that time and I called him "Uncle Whiskers". After he recovered he met and married my Aunt Rosemarie. I was the flower girl in their wedding and felt like a princess that day. When I was almost thirteen, he and my Aunt and my parents, each bought houses on the same street. My aunt and uncle were like second parents to me.

He was the calmest person I ever met. I never heard him raise his voice. He was always the voice of reason. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, an expert photographer, and a skilled handyman. He enjoyed traveling, loved playing golf, and going to the NY Mets games. He was also a man of God, who tried to live every day to the glory of God.

In later years when I was grown and lived across the country from him, I enjoyed visiting him and talking with him on the phone. I missed him greatly after he passed away.
