At the end of July me, DH, DSS1, DS1, DSS2, DSD, and DS2 all went camping with our good friends and their three kids to Jackass Meadows in the Sequoia Nat. Forest in Central California. This is the "road" that is about 14 miles long (from the main road to the campgrounds) but takes an hour to travel because it is one lane and along a cliff face. I am scared to death of heights so I did not enjoy driving this, DH was in our truck behind me and our friends are in that white SUV in front of me you see in the picture.

I had DS2 take this picture on our way back down the mountain. You can see that on coming traffic has to pull over and stop to let us by, it is like this the whole 14 miles.

Anyhow, when we first arrived at the campsite I was asked how I liked the "road" (everyone knew I drove because I had no choice and was scared of heights) and I said "that isn't a road, it's a bike trail," hence the title of the page.
