Ethan is a very fearful child but also very curious and imaginative. So fear and curiosity always drive him in 2 opposite directions. I just hope that fear doesn't defeat him... I liked this background paper so much that I didn't want to cover it up too much. I felt that it projects the mood of this theme so well. The photo of Eta standing near the DNA installation at our Liberty Science center is spliced into three pieces which, I feel, highlights the centerpiece of it so well and signifies Ethan's mind, always struggling between his curiosity, imagination and fears of unknown.
