You are so creative. I love all the unique things you use on your pages as well as the different techniques. This card is so funny, thanks for sharing the story that came with it. I totally understand how one page can take forever to finish...I have spent countless hours choosing papers, pictures and embellies too. Happy Holidays. fave
OK, now I've got the story! I know what you mean about these things taking forever. Sometimes I think I'll never turn a page into something I will like, but most of the time I'm happy in the end. Great job on the Queen of Sheba!
Oh yea, the kitty doesn't look happy-love the title! And oh do I love your backgrounds-such a candy for the eyes. Love the ribbon, so sheer and light. Always pleasure to look at your LOs.
I'm going to comment on this one too! Oh my love the treatment around the photo, don't know what you did but it's such a neat effect! Oh and the snowflakes are gorgeous!
This is the Queen of Sheba. Aunty T is her humble servant. I saw this photo and had to scrap it. Heres the description Aunty T wrote under it: The Queen of Sheba not happy about being photographed, althoug the royal holiday card was her request. Her humble servant is off to soak her shredded fingers oh and to purchase a new camera. It's the third camera this year good thing the yearly tuna tribute has been robust. First i put the texture paste on with a stencil made from a holiday luminary bag i had,it had cut out snow flakes all over it. Then clear embossing powder layered in with gold paint and pearlex powers. The snowflakes had layers of paint with pearlex inbetween and on top. The peacock feather to the right of the pic is sculpy clay i stamped and baked. Its got paint, powder and a little crackle and stickles. I didnt say i stamped the border of the LO with texture paste and a design stamp, just brushed a stamp. I rubbed some green ink into it. The pic itself has silver acrylic with UTEE on it,then silver pearlex. The big snowflake in the upper right is a wood chippie, painted with blue and gold paint that i mixed together, then crackle, didnt like color so put a bunch of pearlex on top. This looks so much better in the sun imho, the image right before this one was taken in direct sunlight ,although shadows have been bugging me .I forgot to crop both versiions, so i cropped one and posted again! People had already commented on the first two . No way was i going to take them out of my gallery! I keep thinking im going to keep track of the hours these pages take. It would probably be too embarrassing to say! It can take an hour to pick a bg ppr.
