This is my response to my own Scrap Happenzz Critique Group Biweekly Challenge #24 for 2010 (yes, 2010) challenging ourselves to lift an old LO of ours that is more than 2 yrs old. This is my lift of my “Brunch cont'd” LO from 2006 - http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=41507&m=view&id=301991&type=-1&page=1&a=158925 http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=41507&m=view&id=301989&type=-1&page=1&a=158925

This is my 2nd ever LO since giving birth to our son 10/2010. I'm averaging about a LO per 8 mos, lol. I scrapped this last yr but haven't been able to upload it until now. Like on the original I handcut the wave in the background though this time I didn't have the luxury of time to mat all the pics, lol.

This LO covers the months after Caruso was born up through the early months of 2011.

Sorry, new scanner chops off the edges. And the clock embellie on the right side is so dimensional, the right page scan ended up a little blurry & shadowy, oh well.

Journaling: Caruso's 1st months began w/ 20 days in the NICU - Greg & I would go to at least a feeding a day, plus Caruso met our parents... it was challenging but we learned so much & Caruso was well taken care of. Then we finally brought our baby home - what joy we had through late fall 2010 through the 2010-11 winter! He brought us a world of amazement & love with every coo, w/ his developing smiles, the way he'd grow & do things like discover his own hands! He loved his mobiles (both a black & white one, & a Fisher Price musical moving rainforest one), his Fisher Price Precious Planet bouncy chair, his black & white activity mat etc. We didn't go out very much considering his preemie birth, the cold/flu/RSV season & blizzard-y winter but he had some walks out & lots of cozy time in. We experienced quite a hiccup when Greg slipped on blizzard snow & injured himself but we all did the best we could to cope & continue caring for our lil lovemuffin (& for Greg too)! Since he was a preemie, exclusive breastfeeding was a bit much for him & when he was at home, I went through a challenging routine of breastfeeding, bottlefeeding & pumping (for the next bottle) for pretty much every feeding; it was a lot. But it was all totally worth it for our boy. The way Caruso regarded us w/ such trust & love made us melt. Our hearts overflow with love for our awesome Baby Caruso!

I also list various milestones of his.

TFL :)
