Week 3 of my Project 52.

This is my new foster puppy, Dexter. He's about ten months old, part bassett hound, part daschaund, part beagle, part who knows what the rest is. He's very cute, very sweet, and VERY busy. But he's a good boy - whines to go outside, respectful at dinner time, and mostly doesn't jump on you or use your fingers to teethe on. I'm fostering him for a local rescue while he waits for his forever family. Meanwhile, he's quickly becoming part of MY family.

***Update: Dexter has a forever family. They decided he was the cutest thing on four legs and they were not the least bit deterred by his puppy energy. I sent his stuffed cow puppet pet with him to his new home. He'd pretty much loved it to pieces here...pieces on the floor, pieces on the sofa, pieces in the yard... ***

I did the bricks with some red paint and then dry brushed them with the white. They turned out ok, I think. The doily is misted with a mix of Walnut Stain and Perfect Bronze pearls. The burlap is misted with the same stuff.

The papers are from an Oklahoma based company called "Farmhouse." They were super fun to work with. The little flag is from Maya Road. Something like 12 in a package. They're kraft paper, and you just cover it or not, depending on how you want the look to go and then glue them to the included pin.
