Photos taken last spring of two plants in my yard that have been here for as long as I can remember. Journaling is hidden and attached to the dark gray tab on the right of the photo. It reads: These flowers have been in the backyard at our house at least since I was a child. The fountain Audie gave me as an anniversary gift one year is set among Turk's Cap. Mama Ellen called it "lady's eardrops" and when I was a child, I made necklaces with the blooms and berries. The lumber for the the well house behind them was salvaged from the dog trot of the old farm house after the tornado in 1999. The smaller photo is a lilac bush the Mama Ellen planted probably before I was even born. Even though it sits out in the yard away from other plants, we have never moved it for fear it will die from a move.

This layout is my entry for the challenge at Rockin Scrappin Grans and based on Sketch #154 from Sketch Inspirations. We were to use a monochromatic color scheme with neutrals.
