When we had the big snow storm in December, the kids could finally go play in the snow. Hannah and I played in the snow on Friday then on Sunday, Tracy said he would pull her around on the quad (because I was feeling crummy). She is the biggest scaredy cat so I was happy and surprised that she agreed. She loved it! After she purposely fell off, she sledded down the hill a few times then came in for cocoa. I am not in love with this layout. I made it for the January Design Seeds challenge. In places, I feel like I was forcing the palette. The colors are:
gray - in the title
light khaki - the doily
blue - the snowflakes and circle inset
rust - bg
green - matting
I colored the chipboard snowflakes with a light blue Sharpie then glitterized it and glued gems on the points. This is the first time I've used a doily and I like it. I was going to do hidden journaling but I thought it worked better this way. The sketch I used was posted by Jamie in the December MSC challenge bonus. I used my cricut for the "4 WHEELIN'" and Lily Bee ABC Stickers for "in the snow".
